Levin toured South Asia

Professor Melina Levin left the U.S. on Friday, October 28, on a 2 1/2 week trip to Vietnam and Thailand with the U.S. State Department and the American Documentary Showcase. She screened some of her documentaries at U.S. Embassies, cultural centers, universities, and the Bangkok International Film Festival. The locations of the screenings included:  Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Bangkok, and Chiang Mai.
Additionally, Levin's documentary The New Frontier: Sustainable Ranching in the American West -- co-directed and co-produced by Irene J. Klaver -- was selected to screen throughout Mongolia in November as part of a soft diplomacy and environmental arts program.
