Bio

Lisa (Weber) Hewitt is a senior broadcast producer, director, writer and media guru with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in non-scripted programming, broadcast news (former TV reporter) and scriptwriting. Her work has appeared on HGTV, ESPN, Food Network, Magnolia, TLC, Travel Channel, Destination America, Dish, CMT, HLN, CNN, Britain's ITN, corporate videos and numerous websites. Lisa holds a B.A. in theatre from Appalachian State University a M.A in broadcast journalism from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Lisa started her media career as a television reporter, then after several years transitioned to long-form projects and non-scripted cable programming. She has worked on hit series such as Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, House Hunters and Food Network Challenge. In addition to feature and non-scripted programming, Lisa has covered national news events such as mass shootings, natural disasters and state legislatures. Skilled in pre-production, production, and post, Lisa has produced in a variety of locations ranging from the Alaskan wilderness - to Madagascar- to small towns across America.
