Bio

After receiving my MFA at NYU in Film Production, I have worked in many parts of an ever evolving industry. I worked as a crewmember on indie feature films, in advertising in NYC, and on a variety of multimedia projects for a production company in Milwaukee. This position introduced me to concert animation and video design, where I would design animation and video pieces to play on large screens during concert tours. It was this experience, and working as a camera operator on several music tours and special events, that sparked my interest in writing for emerging technologies. I learned the lesson that there are many ways to tell a story!

I have written and directed several award winning short films and have written award winning screenplays and a series pilot. A few years ago, I discovered VR and the world of 360 Immersive video. I was fascinated by this new relationship between writer and audience. I began research on VR/360 immersive and have specifically been addressing writing and how best to tell a story in an environment where the audience has agency and visual control. I wrote two 360 Immersive screenplays and am seeking to move those into production, as I continue to study this exciting new form of storytelling.
