Josh Gilbert received his BA in Broadcast Communication from Marquette University, after which he moved to Los Angeles and began working as a screenwriter. On the film side, he has sold original pitches and scripts to Universal, Disney, Paramount, and New Line, and rewritten projects for Fox, MGM, and others. Previous television work has included: animation, game shows, talk shows, reality, variety, and network half-hour. He received a Daytime Emmy in 2003 for writing and producingandnbsp;The Wayne Brady Show.
In recent years he has branched out from primarily comedy writing into drama, horror, and science fiction. He's currently developing a new drama series he co-created for Sony.
