The Media Library and the Media Arts department are thrilled to be hosting Global
Game Jam 2025 at the University of North Texas! This site will be open for any and
all UNT students to join (but only UNT students, sorry, Denton). Kickoff and ice breaker for working groups January 21st!Jammers can find the Media Library in Willis Library on the second floor. The library will be open 24/7 for the full time period from January 24th to the 26th, however the event will only be actively hosted and food will only be provided for the listed 48 hour period.
While the site does have computers with Unreal Engine, students are still encouraged to bring their own laptops in the event that there aren't enough machines for everyone or if jammers want a specific program the library doesn't have. Likewise, the Willis library has plenty of comfortable chairs and couches, but students are also encouraged to bring any supplies to help them stay comfortable (i.e. sleeping bags, pillows, comfortable clothes, snacks, etc.).
