It's time to start planning for Study Abroad 2017 when Phyllis Slocum will lead students in learning in the UK about social media, television (BBC and NBC), radio, theatre (old style at the Globe and a new, modern production), the West End, and Harry Potter.
You'll depart the U.S. on June 4 and then leave Britian on July 6. Classes will be based at the University of London, but will include lots of field trips and other excursions.
This amazing experience also allows you to get a real sample of living in the UK since you'll be there for five weeks staying with a host family in their home -- using mass transit (the Underground and those red double-decker buses), grocery shopping, doing your laundry, and well, all the stuff that goes into daily life.
Taking this Department of Media Arts course for six advanced credit hours is open to any and all UNT students, no matter your major. But you've really got to start planning since seats are limited.
